THE LEBANESE SCOUTS ASSOCIATION
The Lebanese Scouts Association (LSA) was founded in 1935. It is a volunteer based national youth association based on the principles of the world scouting movement initiated by Lord Robert Baden Powell in 1907. It is a non-political non-religious and non-sectarian association made up of various groups in different regions of Lebanon providing non-formal and outdoor training and civil education in collaboration with various civic & educational clubs and institutions. The LSA is proud to be a founding associate of the Lebanese Scouting Federation which in itself is a member of the World Scout Movement. The programs and curricula of the LSA are frequently adapted to developments in the lives of today's youth and the methods it uses are designed to enhance the skills and knowledge of our members within a challenging and fun environment. The spirit of adventure and discovery is cultivated to inspire confidence and enhance understanding and acceptance of all differences between people.

The LSA Fellowship is part of the LSA and is bound by its laws and forms a supporting group for its activities. The Fellowship includes old scouts as well as non-scouts and corporate supporters and are spread over all continents. It is a truly universal group of dedicated individuals from all aspects of society.
"In all of this, it is the spirit that matters. Our Scout law and Promise, when we really put them into practice, take away all occasion for wars and strife among nations."
Lord Baden Powell
